The Problem
This project identified two main challenges that go beyond visual design and focus on usability and user experience. The application lacks a proper implementation of UX and UI principles, which negatively impacts user interaction. Addressing these issues requires the application of user-centered design methods and approaches to ensure a smoother and more satisfying experience.
Users experience difficulties when attempting to place food orders within the app. The process is not intuitive and is poorly optimized, creating friction during the purchasing experience.
Additionally, the table reservation feature in the Little Lemon app presents usability issues. Users struggle to find this option and to use it effectively.
The Solution
The proposed solution consists of a comprehensive redesign of the application, focused on improving usability, optimizing navigation, and achieving smooth and consistent interactions.
This includes simplifying steps and processes, developing a visually appealing interface, and creating a clear and easy-to-use experience aligned with user expectations and needs.
